In 1987, Mutiny in Jonestown was formed originally as a live performance one-man-band.  By then, MIDI technology had progressed that allowed bass, keyboard and drum parts to be recorded by a computer sequencer which could then play them back accurately and become a virtual back up band.  The first two albums were live recordings using this technology performed for small audiences in a recording studio.  Following that, Dennis decided to follow in the footsteps of his musical mentors and retreat to the recording studio to focus on creating the type of progressive rock best appreciated on headphones...and very loud stereos!

On July 28, 2017, he released "The Daemons Mock Me While I Sleep" to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band.  While this 42nd Mutiny in Jonestown album would be a fitting way to close the book on the band, only time will tell if there are more albums to come!
